John - Founder and company director
John's background and skills are the foundation on which Dataquest is built. Working for IBM UK in the early '90s he was involved in the manufacture of hard disk drives. Ranging from the physical build of hard drives in a clean room environment, to testing and failure analysis at an engineering level. Other work included internal disc media and field and warranty failure analysis. John migrated over to Xyratex UK, a company dealing with high end drive & System manufacturing, further advancing his knowledge of the industry to include RAID and main frame systems . It was while working with Xyratex in 1998 that he founded the company Dataquest while working on a pilot data recovery scheme. Born in Birkenhead on the Wirral, he is an avid Liverpool supporter and a typical scouser who always sees the more humorous side of life.
Maggie - Company secretary
Maggie carries out all the Administration including the financial day to day running of the business. Using all the skills she aquired working with many local companies she makes sure the team are kept in financial order. Born in Portsmouth with an Irish background she is definately the fiesty one of the bunch.
Dan - Technical guru and webmaster
Dan's role is split between assisting with the running of the Data Recovery side of business as well as carrying out all of our website requirements. He has a mature head on young shoulders and embraces new technology like it is going out of fashion. (Which it usually is.) Locally grown in Portsmouth he has an interest in anything unusual. He is a '70s throwback with the hair and attitude to match.
Emma - Admin assistant
Emma makes sure the cogs of the business are kept oiled by assisting when & where she is needed. She is an important member of the team and is the baby of the bunch.
